# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
02 - In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
03 - Reserve 3/4 cup of the mixture for the topping. Press the remaining mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix chopped strawberries with granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice until strawberries are evenly coated.
05 - Spread the strawberry mixture evenly over the crust. Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture evenly over the strawberries.
06 - Bake for 35–38 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the strawberries are bubbling.
07 - Allow bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing.

02 -
  • Hot bars will crumble apart no matter how carefully you slice them
  • Room temperature or chilled bars cut much cleaner and hold their shape better
03 -
  • Press the crust firmly using the bottom of a measuring cup for even thickness
  • Chill the bars for 30 minutes before slicing for the cleanest edges
