Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters (Printer-friendly)

Tangy yogurt and strawberries coated in chocolate create a protein-packed, wholesome snack or dessert.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Fruit & Yogurt

01 - 1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (240 g), full-fat or low-fat
02 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced (150 g)

→ Sweetener & Flavor

03 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (omit if using vanilla yogurt)

→ Chocolate Coating

05 - 1 ½ cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips (260 g)
06 - 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

# How to Make It:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, blend Greek yogurt, diced strawberries, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until the strawberries are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
03 - Spoon heaping tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping approximately 16 clusters.
04 - Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow clusters to freeze for 45 minutes until firm.
05 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and fully combined.
06 - Using forks, dip each frozen yogurt cluster into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Allow excess chocolate to drip off before returning the cluster to the baking sheet.
07 - Return the chocolate-coated clusters to the freezer for at least 15 minutes to let the chocolate solidify.
08 - Enjoy clusters frozen or allow to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They taste like youre being indulgent, but theyre actually packed with protein and real fruit.
  • You can grab one straight from the freezer and it feels like a fancy chocolate truffle, not leftovers.
  • The combination of tangy yogurt and dark chocolate is way more satisfying than candy.
02 -
  • If the yogurt mixture is too wet, the clusters will spread out flat instead of holding their shape.
  • Dont skip freezing them solid before dipping or the chocolate will melt the yogurt and turn into a mess.
  • Stir the chocolate gently and dont overheat it, or itll turn grainy and weird.
03 -
  • If the chocolate starts to thicken while youre dipping, microwave it again for 10 seconds to loosen it up.
  • Freeze a double batch and youll thank yourself later when you need a quick dessert or snack.
  • Use the darkest chocolate you enjoy, it balances the sweetness and makes them feel more grown-up.
