- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.
- If using sticks, carefully insert one lollipop stick or skewer into the center of each marshmallow, pushing about halfway through without piercing through the top.
- Place chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each burst, until completely smooth and glossy. Alternatively, melt in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring constantly.
- Holding each marshmallow by the stick, dip halfway into the melted chocolate. Gently twist and lift, allowing excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl for an even coating.
- Immediately sprinkle the chocolate-coated portion with assorted sprinkles while the coating remains wet, gently pressing to ensure adhesion.
- Transfer completed marshmallows to the prepared baking sheet. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes to accelerate firming.
